Yesterday, Patty visited Callie Carling http://createavity.com/2013/09/23/diyakashicwisdom/where they talked about the benefits of doing healing in the Akashic records.
Here’s what we chatted about the other day when I got to ask them some questions about their new book. I hope you enjoy it.
Paula: Inspired women are familiar with calling on Spirit as part of how they navigate through life. However, many of our readers might not be familiar with the Akashic Records. Can you give us a bit of a brief introduction to the “who/what/why and where” of just what are the Akashic Records?
Jacki and Patty: Our favorite description includes a witch, a healer and a door, but that’s too limiting for the Akasha. Our experience and the experience of many others from many different religions and cultures is that the Akasha is a dimension or repository of records of everything that has happened in our universe and possibly beyond. The mythos goes to tell us that spirit desired a place where people (that would be us) could interface with it. This would be a safe place where communication, remembrances, learning and planning could happen under the watchful eye of our creator. Historically such a place is mentioned in religious text from the Bible (Revelations and New Testament), Torah, Koran, Gnostic writings, the Aquarian Gospel, Greek mythology and more modern writings from the Theosophical Society est in 1875. It looks like we have been aware of this dimension for a very long time, but the term Akashic record was not coined until HP Blavatsky brought eastern philosophy to the west and began to teach about another way to experience life.
Paula: Are the Akashic Records a way to better understand our life purpose? Will they help us get clarity about what kind of calling we might have in this life?
Jacki and Patty: It’s our opinion the Akashic records are one of the easiest and friendliest ways to face all aspects of our life, but learning and understanding our life purpose is what makes people the most happy and fulfilled. The level of clarity we have gotten when we take our puzzles and questions to the akasha has blown us away just about every time. Spirit wants us to know ourselves better. This illusion or veil of ignorance is to be used as a tool for evolution, not as a way of being. Every time we ask “why was I born?” the heavens rejoice. It is our purpose to ask and seek answers of our reason for being and to figure out how best to manifest that. It’s not enough to know why, we have to know how. How do I…..? Once we get an idea of what that looks like, we can go on happily creating it. Researching this in the Akashic records will get us further along on that quest than pondering it in this dimension.
The Akasha is pure energy and responses to our thoughts very fluidly; in fact is waits for our thought (question) to imprint the energy so it has a purpose. If your thought is “what is the purpose of my life?” it will go out and find all the possible answers to that question. Its then up to you to pick the one that resonates to you right now. Just because you’re in the stream of all knowledge doesn’t mean you don’t have to think or choose. Free will baby!
Paula: The Akashic Records sound so mystical. How can everyday women, without special skills or training, access the Records and understand them?
Jacki and Patty: The records are very obliging and willing to meet everyone more than half way. When we first started working with the records we kept getting repeating images and symbols we said Ah HA! it’s leading us in with “bread crumbs”. We learned how to enter the records through a door in our heart chakra because we did a lot of meditation on the heart chakra and connected to our clients through their heart chakras. They even gave us a nudge to help us along. One fateful psychic reading, Jacki’s psyche was pushed right through her clients heart chakra and into a place she was told is the Akashic records. It was easy as that. If you desire to go to the Akashic records, it will help you.
Jacki trained herself to be a reader and she asked to be connected to the stream of knowledge because she wanted to do a good job, and she got what she asked for. It’s no more difficult or complicated than that. In our book we offer meditations and prayers to help you find the door to your records and go there. Anyone can do this, but the more you learn to focus (through practice) the better your experiences will be.
